What surfaces will vinyl decals stick to? Vinyl decals will stick to many surfaces. Walls need to be mostly smooth without much texture. They aren't just for walls though, they also stick great to chalkboards, windows, glass, mirrors, metal and plexiglass etc. These can stick to textured walls but it is VERY difficult and will require A LOT of patience.
Vinyls decals are NOT compatible with the following: The newer environmentally friendly paints such as stain resistant, low voc and non voc. Medium to heavily textured, bumpy/grainy walls. Paneling, brick or cement. **We cannot guarantee the vinyl decal will stick to your intended surface. Please send us a message if you would like a free test sample before you purchase as we cannot refund for decals not sticking. We offer FREE test decals as a courtesy to test before you purchase which will be shipped in regular mail.***
Size and how it is measured Size is measured from top to bottom and side to side. Measurements include all aspects (words/design) of the decal. The maximum height for a single letter is 12", sizes larger than 12" high are intended for multiple line decals.
Colors, Fonts, proofs, production Please request font choice and if you need a proof in personalization box. Please see image for the color chart as well as the fonts. Color can vary slightly from what you are seeing on the computer based on the device you are using as well as brightness settings. As long as all the information is required, you will recieve a digital proof within 1 business day. (If you order on Sunday, you will recieve a proof on Monday; if you order on a Friday, you will recieve a proof on Monday) If you requested a digital proof, we will not print until approved. Once approved, the production is 2-4 business days.
Vinyl decals are removable, however they are not reusable. They cannot be repositioned once they are placed on your desired surface. They are intended for one time use only.
